Six wins from six, top of the Roshn Saudi League, yet Al Nassr won’t be resting on their laurels any time soon.
The table toppers maintained their 100 percent start to the campaign with a 2-0 victory at Al Hazem on Saturday night, where - you guessed it - Portuguese pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix got the goals.
With nine already in his debut season in RSL, Felix remains in pole position in the 2025-26 scoring charts Ronaldo, meanwhile, winner of the past two golden boots, racked up the 950th goal of his unprecedented professional career.

For the team as a whole, the numbers are impressive, too. Al Nassr boast both the division’s best attack, with 21 goals scored, and defence having conceded two.
A prominent part in the latter, Mohamed Simakan was delighted with helping his side keep out an opponent for the fourth time in six RSL rounds.
But, he emphasised, the hard work won’t stop there.
“Today we are happy because we win 2-0, we score goals and keep a clean sheet, so everyone is happy,” the French centre-back said. “It wasn’t an easy game. Now we need to continue to keep the first place. We’ll try to keep fighting and give everything in the next game.”
Asked for a peak behind the curtain as to why Jorge Jesus’ new team have begun so well this season, Simakan smiled and added: “We don’t have secrets; in football you don’t have secrets. You work a lot.
“The coach has good tactics. We also play together [as a team], have a good mentality, good players, a better team than last year. And now we are happy and need to keep fighting like this.”
Saturday’s victory felt extra special given this weekend marked 70 years since Al Nassr’s foundation. Even though he’s played only a small role in that history, Simakan wants to give something back to the club. Namely, the RSL title.
“We are really proud to be here,” he said. “Because Al Nassr is a big, big club in Asia. So, we want to give all for this team, for this club, because we have everything here to make great things.
“Inshallah, we keep continue and improve for our fans here and all the Al Nassr fans in the world.”
