Al Taawoun have parted company with manager Rodolfo Arruabarrena following the club’s downturn in results.
The Roshn Saudi League side confirmed the Argentine’s departure on Sunday, bringing to an end his seven-month tenure. Thursday’s 2-1 home defeat to Al Ittihad marked his final match with the club.
Appointed in July, Arruabarrena had last month guided Al Taawoun to eighth in the 2024-25 table with a 3-0 win at Qadsiah upon the RSL’s resumption after the winter break. However, Al Taawoun then went winless in their next five matches to slip into the bottom half.
Fourth last season, they travel to eighth-placed Al Khaleej on Saturday.
