SPL partners with L1VE to bring immersive match experiences to fans worldwide
The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has announced a three-season partnership with immersive media company L1VE, giving fans around the world a new way to experience live Roshn Saudi League (RSL) football from February 2027.
Through L1VE's Social Presence technology, supporters will be able to take virtual seats inside RSL stadiums and experience matches live in stereoscopic 360-degree 3D, alongside friends and fellow fans wherever they are in the world.
The agreement grants L1VE exclusive worldwide immersive media rights to one featured RSL match per matchweek across the 2026-27, 2027-28 and 2028-29 seasons, introducing an additional way for supporters to enjoy the action beyond traditional broadcasting and streaming.
The partnership forms part of the SPL's wider digital distribution strategy, using emerging technology to offer new experiences to its growing international audience while complementing its established broadcast and streaming partnerships.
The initiative builds on the league's expanding international reach, with RSL matches available through a global broadcast network spanning more than 180 territories.
The competition features some of world football's leading names, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Ivan Toney, Gabriel Martinelli, Sadio Mane, Joao Felix, Tijjani Reijnders and Kingsley Coman.
L1VE's immersive platform will allow fans to experience the atmosphere of a live match without travelling to the stadium.
Its shared social features will enable supporters in different locations to watch together in real time, with an on-demand viewing window also available after the final whistle.

Immersive coverage is scheduled to begin in February 2027, during the second half of the 2026-27 RSL season, with the first featured match to be announced closer to launch.
Fans will be able to access the experience through the L1VE app on compatible immersive headsets, including Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro and Pico devices, subject to device and platform compatibility.
Tickets will be available through the L1VE app and at l1ve.com, with further details and featured fixtures announced in due course.
