Reijnders leads Al Qadsiah double, Inzaghi also honoured in October awards
Tijjani Reijnders' stunning start to life in the Roshn Saudi League has earned the Al Qadsiah star the Player of the Month award for October.
The Dutch international was in sensational form throughout the past month, scoring five goals and providing three assists in five appearances to help maintain Al Qadsiah's push towards the top of the table.
Reijnders' standout display came in last Thursday's emphatic 6-0 victory at Al Riyadh, when the summer signing from Manchester City struck a superb hat-trick and added an assist to underline his growing influence in Brendan Rodgers' title-chasing side.
It was a double celebration for second-placed Al Qadsiah, with teammate Koen Casteels collecting the Goalkeeper of the Month award.
The Belgian international, the 2024-25 Goalkeeper of the Season, kept three clean sheets in five matches, making 16 saves and conceding only four goals across 450 minutes of action.
Meanwhile, Simone Inzaghi was named Manager of the Month after guiding Al Hilal to a perfect October.
The Italian oversaw four wins from four RSL matches - the most recent Saturday's 2-0 victory against Al Fateh - his side scoring nine goals and conceding four to maintain their place at the summit of the standings.
Completing the October honours, Al Fayha's Ali Al Hussain claimed the Young Player of the Month award.
The promising youngster featured in all five of the Al Majma'ah outfit's league matches, including the weekend's huge Sudair Derby win at home to Al Faisaly, delivering a series of consistent performances to earn recognition as one of the competition's emerging talents.
