Performance Index Explained - Slide Over

Performance Index
The Performance Index is an objective evaluation of players, calculated live by an algorithm based exclusively on match data.
All players start with the average league-player score and can increase this to a maximum of 100 points with good performance. To do this, the algorithm takes into account, among other things, the quality of passing, tackling behaviour, participation in goal-scoring chances and other contributions to the team’s performance.
To ensure that, for example, defenders are not measured against the goal-scoring rate of strikers, the value of all players is calculated on the basis of the priorities for their position. Players who play for less than 10 minutes do not receive an index value.
