Chief Creators: Who makes up Top 5 best suppliers in RSL?
It’s well established in football that strikers are the kings of the jungle, the ones who grab the glory and acquire the accolades for their feats on the pitch.
Not always, but sometimes less appreciated, are those supplying them. After all, a striker is often only as good as the service he receives.
We thought, then, that we’d shine a spotlight on those doing just that; the players creating the chances that allow their frontmen to shine bright across the 2026-27 RSL so far.

Eduard Spertsyan - Al Ahli (23)
Much has been made of Ivan Toney’s blistering start to this season, and rightly so: he has 10 goals in seven games to lead the race for the 2026-27 golden boot.
But the England frontman would no doubt concede that he can only score those because of those behind him.
And leading that supply chain is new recruit, Spertsyan. The Armenia captain has made an immediate impact since joining Al Ahli this summer, with two assists and two goals of his own.
However, that tells only half the story. Because Spertsyan is comfortably ahead for Chances Created across the league this term, with 23 - almost 20 percent more than the next best player in that category.

Sadio Mane - Al Nassr (19)
Now in his fourth season with the RSL champions, the Senegalese superstar just keeps on delivering - this time under Ange Postecoglou, who in July succeeded Jorge Jesus.
The Australian manager’s famously offensive style is clearly at one with Mane, who has been lively through this opening period of the season, with two goals and two assists in the opening seven rounds.
The 2025-26 RSL title winner, nominated for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, has created 19 chances in all.

Alvaro Medran - Al Ettifaq (19)
While not the highest-profile player in the league, the RSL veteran is one who consistently delivers wherever he plays, be that at Al Taawoun or for his current employers, Al Ettifaq.
Under another attack-minded coach - and another Australian - in Arthur Papas, Medran is clearly enjoying his role in midfield, and with three assists, is joint first across the league in that statistic.
With two goals of his own, the Spaniard has had a hand in five of Al Ettifaq’s 11 goals this season. Now that is impact.

Crysencio Summerville - Al Hilal (17)
With two goals and an assist at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Netherlands international arrived at Al Hilal in hot form. He’s continued that in the RSL, with two goals and three assists.
Of course, Summerville is only one piece of an incredible attacking cog at the current league leaders that has combined to produce a staggering 115 shots through the opening seven matchweeks.
That’s not only 30 more than any other side, but an average of more than 16 per game. Incredible.

Joao Felix - Al Nassr (17)
While he hasn’t been able to match last season’s hot start, in which he managed nine goals and an assist in the opening seven fixtures, the reigning SPL Player of the Season has still made his mark. Nowhere was that more felt, in fact, than in Al Nassr’s epic come-from-behind 3-2 win at Al Ettifaq in Matchweek 3.
Felix’s pair of assists, which came in a three-minute span, turned the game on its head and helped the 10-man champions overturn the 2-0 deficit in the final 20 minutes.
Unquestionably, Felix is fundamental to Al Nassr’s title defence.
