The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has announced a new organisational structure, appointing senior executives to oversee league operations and club affairs as the competition continues to grow.

Under the new structure, Abdulaziz Al Humaidi has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Operations, while Jesus Arroyo takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Club Affairs.

The changes are part of the SPL’s wider efforts to improve operational efficiency, streamline decision-making and establish clearer responsibilities across the organisation.

Al Humaidi will oversee Competitions, Match Operations, Match Services and Operations Planning, drawing on his extensive experience within the SPL and knowledge of the league’s operational requirements.

Mohammed Al Juhani has also been appointed Deputy CEO of Club Affairs, with responsibility for improving processes and coordination across the sector.

During his time at the SPL, he has helped develop several club-related initiatives and regulatory frameworks, including the league’s Financial Control Regulations.
