The nominees
Karim Benzema
Al Ittihad’s title-winning captain contributed to more goals than any other player in the RSL (30), comprising 21 goals and nine assists from 28 appearances. What's more, Benzema’s strikes won three BSF Goal of the Week awards.
After promising at the beginning of the season to "make our fans proud", Benzema certainly delivered.

Salem Al Dawsari
Al Hilal captain Al Dawsari produced his best season yet in terms of goals scored, with 15 - the highest for any Saudi player in the division. In fact, only Karim Benzema (30) has more goal contributions than Al Dawsari in the entire league (29).
The 34-year-old even celebrated the first hat-trick of his career - against Al Raed in Matchweek 30 - and was not shy of scoring bangers, with two of his goals winning the BSF Goal of the Week award.

Cristiano Ronaldo
The inspired Al Nassr captain goes into the final matchweek as the RSL top scorer with 24 goals, placing him firmly in pole position to retain the golden boot his captured in record-breaking style last season.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo also has three assists, and has picked up the BSF Goal of the Week award three times. Yes, he turned 40 earlier this year, but there's no sign he's slowing down.

Roger Ibanez

The Brazilian, integral to Al Ahli's AFC Champions League Elite title success, also ranks second for duels won (183) and aerial duels won (68), underlining why he is the only defender to win an RSL Player of the Month award this season.
