Al Raed have appointed Croatian Kresimir Rezic as their new manager, replacing Odair Hellmann in the Buraidah hotseat.
The Roshn Saudi League side, currently bottom of the 2024-25 standings, confirmed the news on Tuesday.
In a post on social media, Rezic said: "Proud to officially become the coach of Al Raed Club. Let the new challenge begin, let’s go!"
Rezic, 43, has previous experience of the RSL having managed Damac for 26 months from early 2021. During that time, he guided the club to finishes of 11th and 5th. He then managed Al Tai from May 2023 to September 2023.
Al Raed have endured a difficult time this season having begun the campaign in fine fashion. They have won only twice in their past 17 RSL matches to slip to the foot of the table.
However, Al Raed contest the King’s Cup semi-final on Wednesday, away to Al Qadsiah, with Rezic’s first RSL assignment coming on Sunday, at home to Al Khaleej.
