The Saudi Pro League board of directors today announced the appointment of Mr. Omar E. Mugharbel as new Chief Executive Officer of the League.
The Chairman and board members express their deepest gratitude to Mr. Saad Al Lazeez for his efforts over the past period in which he served as interim CEO, and wish Omar Mugharbel in his new role as CEO to serve the best interests of Saudi football and clubs.
Mugharbel brings along a wealth of experience in public management, marketing and commercial affairs for many reputable corporations, which will contribute to the development of the league in the upcoming period.
It is worth noting that Al Lazeez will continue to serve in his capacity as SPL Vice Chairman as well as overseeing the Player Acquisition Center of Excellence (PACE) of the Roshn Saudi League.
