Ten midfielders to watch - RSL Fantasy

Anderson Talisca - Al Nassr - Price: 11.0

The 29-year-old Brazilian might be the most expensive midfielder in Fantasy RSL, but you just can’t not have him in your side. His numbers speak for themselves.

Already this season he has eight goals in as many matches for Al Nassr, also providing two assists to go along with it. When you consider the fact he has scored 20 goals in each of the past two seasons, he is a points scoring machine.

Salem Al Dawsari - Al Hilal - Price: 10.0

In an Al Hilal side laden with midfield stars, including Ruben Neves and Sergei Milinkovic-Savic, the current Asian Player of the Year stands out as the best local talent within the RSL.

The winger, who announced himself on the international stage with that wonder strike against Argentina, has already bagged seven goals this campaign and looks on track for his best ever season in front of goal, especially playing in an Al Hilal side that boast one of the league’s best attacks.

Georginio Wijnaldum - Ettifaq - Price: 9.5

The former Premier League winner joined the gluttony of former Liverpool stars in Dammam over the off-season, and playing under Steven Gerrard the 32-year-old has had a prosperous start to life in the Eastern Province.

One of the new arrivals to the RSL over the summer off-season, the Ivorian has hit the ground running with Al Ahli, playing a vital role in helping the recently promoted side sit third nearing the half-way mark of the season.

The 31-year-old Armenian international arrived in the RSL after four impressive seasons in MLS with Columbus Crew, and he has brought that impressive form with him to Al Ahsa, with three goals and four assists to his name already this season.

The former Real Madrid midfielder has long since established himself at Al Taawoun, having arrived ahead of the 2021-22 season. He contributed six goals last season, and while he only has one to his name this season he is one of the leading assist providers with five.

As Al Taawoun soar, Medran is behind only Riyad Mahrez in terms of overall chances created, with 33 chances so far this season, ensuring he is virtually guaranteed to earn you points.

Bernard Mensah - Al Tai - Price: 7.0

The 29-year-old Ghanaian international has beena revelation this season for the unheralded Al Tai after arriving from Turkish side Kayserispor over the summer.

Having found the back of the net six times already this season, he is already one of the league’s leading scorers, and when Al Tai score it almost always comes from the boot of Mensah - contributing 75% of the goals Al Tai have scored this season.

Ever Banega - Al Shabab - Price: 7.0

The former Argentine international may be 35 years of age, but he is no less dangerous in the final third for Al Shabab.

Abdulaziz Noor - Al Wehda - Price: 6.5

In total, he has created seven chances this season and with players like Craig Goodwin and Odion Ighalo around him there are the players capable of finishing the chances he creates.
